PA Food & Drink
From the Philly cheesesteak to Old Forge Pizza to Primanti Bros. sandwiches to Pennsylvania Dutch scrapple and everything in between, Pennsylvania is known as much for its food as it is for anything else. We’re on a quest to discover the best food and drink that the Commonwealth has to offer, and here’s what we’ve discovered so far:
Dunderbak’s
Date of Visit: November 22, 2025
Dunderbak’s is a favorite stop of ours in the Lehigh Valley – an authentic German restaurant with great food and a kid-friendly atmosphere inside the Lehigh Valley Mall. Read more about why we rate it so highly.

Gazzos Steaks
Date of Visit: November 19, 2025
Some of the best cheesesteaks in the Philly ‘burbs can be found at Gazzos Steaks, a Rocky-themed restaurant in Pottstown, Montgomery County. I tried the Sanatoga cheesesteak with Gazzos’ signature smoked Cooper cheese – like Rocky, it’s a real winner!

Annamarie’s
Date of Visit: November 1, 2025
Pancakes the size of your head and the sweetest French toast you’ll ever eat come together in a cozy corner spot in Royersford, Montgomery County. Read about our visit to the breakfast and brunch spot and what makes Annamarie’s a local icon.
